Theatre is intrinsically a local medium, and The Scoundrel & Scamp is dedicated to fully supporting the artists and artistic companies of our community. The S&S makes its facilities available for rentals of short term engagements for readings, music and performances. Rent the space for an afternoon or for up to three weeks of rehearsals and performances. Please note that as one of very few facilities with a dance floor, full tech capabilities and a busy S&S schedule to boot, the S&S is in demand. If you are considering a rental with us please be in communication as early as possible as our space is highly utilized.

The MainStage is a beautiful 105-seat theatre space, configurable in proscenium, thrust, or in-the-round configurations.

  • Approx. 30’ x 30’ stage with additional wingspace.

  • Audience size: 105 fixed (160 with flexible seating on stage).

  • Loading Dock

  • Dressing Rooms to comfortably accommodate up to 10

  • 2 Restrooms with additional ‘backstage’ Restroom

  • Backstage area use of “The Riquito” (please note that this is a shared space so that space availabilty can vary)

  • Use of The Historic Y Parking Lot (this is a shared resource with other tenants and events)
