Accessibility at the S&S

These guidelines are for S&S productions and may not reflect the practices of organizations who rent our facility for events.

The Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre is dedicated to ensuring equal access for all to the performing arts. We are happy to provide accommodations to patrons!

For patrons using wheelchairs or other mobility devices:

Our theater is accessible via a ramp from our parking lot on the south side of the Historic Y. In our parking lot, there is a designated space conveniently located next to our primary entrance.

Patrons using wheelchairs and other mobility devices, as well as those for whom stairs would present a challenge, should select seats in Row A. There are dedicated reserved seats for patrons in wheelchairs and their companions; these can be purchased at any time through our online ticketing system. If these seats are taken, or if you simply prefer a different position in the row, please know that any seat in the first row may be removed to accommodate a wheelchair. In these instances, please contact the box office to inform us of your needs.

For deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons:

Our theater is happy to loan Assistive Listening Systems to any patrons in need of them. Please ask for one at the box office at the time of check=in and a box office agent will provide the system as well as explain how to use it. The devices can either be worn around the neck or clip to clothing, and are sanitized between all uses.

For patrons in need of quiet space:

Patrons who are feeling overstimulated in our theatre and need a quiet place in which to regain their sensory equilibrium may use The Lindhorn Angell Library, which is located just off of the “Penny Arcade” of the theatre.

With any accessibility-related questions, please email boxoffice@scoundrelandscamp.org.
