Seeking up to 4 ENSEMBLE MEMBERS of ages 7-16 ready to move, create and imagine!

We will be casting from all genders and ethnicities.
BIPOC actors are welcome and encouraged to audition.

All actors will receive an honorarium.

SCAMP Auditions

The Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre will hold open auditions for actors age 7-16 for the 2021–2022 season on Saturday, August 21st from 10am-12pm.

Socially distanced rehearsals will start in late October and the production will run for two weeks in December.

PARENTS

These auditions will be held in-person at the theatre.

For the auditions we want to get a sense of your child's comfort with play and performance through a relaxed and fun audition process. Safety is of great importance. Our small staff are fully vaccinated and masked during the entire process. Children will be auditioning on stage individually, and will have the opportunity to take off their mask while by themselves onstage, if they are comfortable. Masks must be warn at all other times while inside.

All performers, staff, and artistic teams are required to be fully vaccinated by the start of rehearsals with the exception of children who are too young to be vaccinated.

SCAMPS!

Come prepared to do the following:

1) Please bring a 1-minute long story to tell us! It can be about anything you want. Something you find funny or exciting, or maybe a crazy memory you have to share!

2) Be ready to play with guided prompts.

Directions & PARKING

Doors to the theater are located off the back parking lot of the Historic Y. The Parking lot is accessible off of 5th Avenue. 

• If biking, S&S offers a bike rack next to the doors off of 5th Avenue.

• If taking the streetcar, disembark at the 4th Ave/4th-5th Street stop. (Stop 13)

• If driving, we offer parking off 5th Avenue.
