The Book of Will

After the death of their friend and mentor, William Shakespeare, two of his friends and fellow actors are determined to compile his plays into a folio and preserve the words that shaped their lives. However, fire, warring publishers, and death make bringing this book to print easier said than done. Amidst the noise and color of 1600s London, this hilarious, heartbreaking and award-winning play by the playwright of Ada and the Engine finds an unforgettable true story of love, loss, and laughter.

The main entrance is located off the parking lot of The Historic Y; the parking lot entrance is accessed from 5th Avenue.

Runtime: Approximately 150 minutes with intermission.

Note: Late seating is at the discretion of the House Manager and is not guaranteed.

If the standard ticket prices represent a financial barrier, please make use of the flexible pricing scale on our preview nights!
For preview shows, we offer flexible pricing for admission on a sliding scale starting at $10.
